Rabat – Morocco’s rising star Amir Richardson is expected to join Italian club Fiorentina.
Renowned Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Thursday that Fiorentina reached a transfer deal withFrench club Stade de Reims on Richardson.
“Deal in place for free in excess of €10m, as called by @CyrilOlives,” the journalist wrote, noting that final details “to be sorted then he will be set for medical tests.”
Reports last week said Tottenham Hotspur is also seeking to add Richardson to its lineup.

Morocco made it to the semifinals but lost to Spain 2-1. However, for their third-place game against Egypt, Morocco won the bronze medal, becoming the first Arab country to clinch a bronze medal and a podium finish in Olympic football.
The Atlas Lions earned their bronze medal with a commanding 6-0 victory over the Egypt on Thursday.
