Rabat – Morocco’s Enactus team from Mohammadia School of Engineers (EMI) at Mohammed V University in Rabat secured the Vice-Champion title at the 2024 Enactus World Cup in Kazakhstan.
The team finished second among over 2,000 participating universities from the Enactus network, Enactus Morocco said in a press release.
Morocco’s team triumphed in the semi-finals against formidable opponents, including Canada, Mexico, and Nigeria. They then faced Germany, Tunisia, and South Korea in the championship round, ultimately earning the second place. Meanwhile, Tunisia won first place.

The team showcased their project, EPIC, which provides sustainable solutions for the beekeeping sector. The project’s emphasis on addressing social and environmental challenges captured the attention of judges and the public, noted Enactus Morocco ‘s statement.
This achievement further solidifies Morocco’s status as a “leader in social entrepreneurship,” it said; adding tha the win adds ro previous accolades, including a second place in 2014 in China and a third place in 2015 in South Africa.
“Although Tunisia won the world title this year, Morocco returns with pride, bolstered by this performance that showcases the talent and creativity of its young innovators,” the statement reads.
“This victory will forever be a huge source of pride for me and the entire team,” Enactus EMI Team Leader Ihab Bokal told Morocco World News. “One message I want to get to every ambitious Moroccan entrepreneur is that nothing is impossible as long as you try.”
