Rabat – In an unexpected yet tender moment, King Mohammed VI was captured adjusting a scarf on his daughter’s shoulder during a rare public outing in Paris.
The photograph, published today by French media outlet Point de Vue, shows the monarch, known for his reserved public persona, in a rare display of warmth and familial affection.
As winter begins to settle over the French capital, the quiet gesture of readjusting the scarf reflects the care and protective instinct of a father, offering a striking contrast to the king’s usual royal stature.
The royal family had traveled to Paris for a long weekend, and this intimate moment, shared between the king and his children, presented an opportunity for a more personal side of the monarch to be revealed.
The photos, which reflect a subtle bond between father and child, come at a time when questions about the king’s health had recently surfaced, following concerns raised by his public appearances in October.
On November 17, another photograph of King Mohammed VI circulated widely, showing the monarch walking in the Printemps department store on Boulevard Haussmann in Paris.
Unlike previous outings, where the king was seen using a cane during the state visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Morocco, this image depicted the king standing upright, without any apparent assistance.
The sight of the king in seemingly better health sparked widespread discussion on Moroccan social media, with many commentators expressing relief at the improvement in his condition.
