Rabat – Morocco celebrated outstanding victories at the 43rd Arab Amateur Golf Championships, Organized by the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation (FRMG) in the United Arab Emirates from November 20 to 22.

Morocco triumphed in both the Amateur and Seniors categories. In the Amateur category, the Moroccan team, comprising Adam Bresnu, El Mehdi Fakori, Soufiane Dahmane, and Hugo Mazen Trometter, achieved an impressive cumulative score of -36.

This marks Morocco’s 12th team victory in the history of the championship, including 10 wins in the last 11 editions, said the organizers in a press release.

The Seniors team also excelled, with Souleiman Berrada, Jamal Ait Manna, and Salaheddine Benidder securing a comfortable lead of seven points over their closest competitors.

Moroccan golfers also stood out in the individual competitions, claiming five of the six available medals.

Adam Bresnu claimed the 2024 Arab champion title in the Amateur category with a score of -16. His teammates El Mehdi Fakori and Hugo Mazen Trometter tied for second place with scores of -9. Meanwhile, Soufiane Dahmane finished in fifth place with a score of -7.

In the Seniors category, Souleiman Berrada claimed the individual title, while Jamal Ait Manna and Salaheddine Benidder secured third and eighth places, respectively.

These achievements reflect Morocco’s strong position in regional golf and the dedication of the FRMG to developing the sport, the organizers noted.
