Rabat – Morocco is on a mission to attract businesses from Asia. Karim Zidane, Morocco’s Minister of Investment, is leading a delegation to Japan and Korea from November 25 to 29 to show why Morocco stands as a prime destination for global investors.
The roadshow aims to boost economic ties and attract investments in key industries, including cars, aviation, electronics, and agriculture, said the investment ministry in a press release.
It’s all part of the “Morocco Now” campaign, which positions the North African country as a sustainable and strategic hub for trade and business.
The delegation will meet investors and officials in Tokyo and Seoul surrounding conferences on November 25 and 28. At these events, they will demonstrate Morocco’s strengths, of which include its strategic location, growing industries, and green energy projects. Both conferences are centered around Morocco’s future as a platform for trade and sustainable investment.
This roadshow is organized jointly by the Ministry of Investment and the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency (AMDIE). Through these visits, Morocco hopes these talks will strike new partnerships and lead to new business opportunities.
