Rabat – Casablanca will host the first World Advanced Manufacturing & Logistics Expo & Summit (WAM Morocco) next year from October 28 to 30, 2025, at the Casablanca International Fair.
The event aims to position Morocco as a leader in next-generation manufacturing and logistics, blending innovation with sustainable practices.
Backed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the summit is organized by KAOUN International, known for global events such as GITEX GLOBAL and GITEX Africa.
Ryad Mezzour, Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Trade, highlighted the event’s role in enhancing the country’s industrial standing.
“WAM Morocco is a key milestone in our efforts to establish Morocco as a global hub for sustainable manufacturing and advanced technologies,” he was quoted as saying in a press release. “It showcases our dedication to economic resilience and innovation.”
The event, according to the organizers, seeks to broaden Morocco’s industrial base, attract foreign investment, and foster local capacity building.
The expo will present Morocco’s progress in manufacturing, with the automotive and aerospace sectors leading the way.
Morocco is now the largest non-European car exporter to Europe and a significant aerospace supplier, with $2.2 billion in annual exports to clients like Boeing and Airbus.
Initiatives such as the Fez Smart Factory and the National Port Strategy 2030 underline the country’s commitment to innovation, supported by robust foreign investments.
The summit will spotlight emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, and quantum computing, while dedicated exhibitions such as WAP (World Advanced Packing, Printing, and Plastic Technologies) and WASIM (World Advanced Sustainable Manufacturing) will address critical industry challenges.
CGEM President Chakib Alj said in the statement that the event’s impact on Moroccan businesses. “WAM Morocco is more than an exhibition; it’s a platform for collaboration, connecting Moroccan companies with global leaders to enhance competitiveness and resilience.”
WAM Morocco is supported by strategic partners including the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE).
