Marrakech – The Moroccan Professional Group of Banks (GPBM) announced this Thursday that banks will be exceptionally open during the last weekend of 2024.

In a press release, the GPBM confirmed that banks will operate over the weekend of December 28-29, allowing individuals, businesses, and public institutions to complete their year-end transactions.

The measure aims “to allow individuals, public entities, and businesses to carry out various end-of-year operations.”

However, the GPBM clarified that only a portion of bank counters will be open across the country during this period, specifying that “a part of the bank counters will be open exceptionally on the weekend.”

Regarding the specific branches and their hours, the GPBM explained, “Each bank will publish on its website the list of branches that will be open this weekend,” encouraging the public to check these websites for more details.
