Rabat – Morocco will experience a mix of rain, snow, and strong winds on Saturday, according to the latest weather forecast from the General Directorate of Meteorology.

Rainfall is expected in several regions, with scattered showers in the Rif and light rain over the Mediterranean coast, the northwest, the Middle Atlas, the Saïss region, and the Atlantic plains between Casablanca and Essaouira.

Occasional drizzles are also expected in the central parts of the country, the High Atlas, and coastal areas between Agadir and Tan-Tan.

Snowfall is forecast in the Rif region and the High and Middle Atlas mountains, which could impact travel in these areas, the weather authority said.

Meanwhile, strong wind gusts are expected in the Rif, the northern Oriental region, and the Middle Atlas.

Temperatures will vary significantly across the country. The coldest areas, including the Atlas mountains, southeastern slopes, Rif, and southern Oriental region, will see minimum temperatures ranging between -4°C and 5°C.

Temperatures in other regions will be milder, with lows between 5°C and 15°C. During the day, temperatures will drop slightly in the northern Oriental and eastern Mediterranean regions but are expected to rise in other parts of the country.

The weather now appears to be returning to more stable conditions across the country after more than a week of heavy rain, strong winds, and storms affecting several regions.
