Rabat – A total of 250,075 candidates passed the 2025 regular session of Morocco’s baccalaureate exam, according to final results announced by the Ministry of National Education. The number reflects a 1.5% increase in successful candidates compared to the 2024 session.

Of those who passed, 154,918 were females, achieving a success rate of 71.3%, compared to 61.81% among males. The overall success rate for this year’s session reached 66.80%, slightly down from 67.86% in 2024.

This year, 374,371 candidates sat for the exams, with a high attendance rate of 97.14%. That figure reflects a slight rise in participation compared to 2024, which saw 362,848 candidates and a 97.36% attendance rate.

Among the total, 71,361 were private candidates, whose attendance rate reached 64.42%, while their success rate stood at 36.95%.

More than half of the successful candidates—152,261 students, or 54.9%—earned a distinction, confirming the overall improvement in performance among top achievers.

As for specialized academic paths, the international track of the Baccalaureate posted a 68.95% success rate, while the vocational track saw a higher rate of 76.15%. Candidates with disabilities recorded a 69.66% success rate, thanks to adapted testing and support measures provided during the exams.

Results were distributed electronically in the early hours of Saturday via SMS and the official Taalim.ma platform. The ministry also confirmed that students will be able to download their digital certificates starting Sunday.

Looking ahead, 153,612 candidates are scheduled to sit for remedial exams on July 3, 4, and 5, with results expected on July 12. Meanwhile, outstanding students will take part in the General Science and Technology Exam on July 4 at Moulay Youssef High School in Rabat, competing in disciplines such as mathematics, physics and chemistry, life sciences, and engineering.
