England Team News

Injuries: England is without several key players. Captain Harry Kane is sidelined due a minor injury.

Winger Noni Madueke and defenders Reece James, Levi Colwill, and Trent Alexander-Arnold are also unavailable due to injuries.

And the biggest surprise is that Midfield star Jude Bellingham was left out and received no call from Tuchel.

Squad changes: Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka returns from injury and is expected to start on the wing. With Kane out, Ollie Watkins or Marcus Rashford could lead the attack up front.

Young left-back Nico O’Reilly has earned his first call-up, replacing the injured Reece James in the squad.

In midfield, Declan Rice will likely anchor the center, partnering with Nottingham Forest’s midfielder Elliot Anderson.

Tuchel has kept most of the core players from last month’s qualifiers, so the lineup should look familiar despite the injury absences.

Predicted lineup: Jordan Pickford; Djed Spence, John Stones, Marc Guehi, Myles Lewis-Skelly; Declan Rice, Elliot Anderson, Morgan Rogers; Bukayo Saka, Marcus Rashford, Jarrod Bowen.

Wales Team News

Injuries:. Wales has only one injury. Winger Daniel James withdrew from the squad after picking up an ankle injury.

Predicted lineup: Karl Darlow; Neco Williams, Chris Mepham, Joe Rodon, Ben Davies; Ethan Ampadu, Jordan James; Brennan Johnson, Harry Wilson, Rubin Colwill; David Brooks.

What to Expect

England are strong favorites at home. The Three Lions have been in good form recently, winning four of their last five games. They are also unbeaten in their last five home matches against Wales.

Wales will likely adopt a cautious approach. They have struggled to score goals against strong opposition, and they are coming off some disappointing results. In recent matches, Wales lost 0-1 to Canada and 3-4 to Belgium.

Safe Calls

  • Both Teams to Score: NO – An England clean sheet looks likely.
  • Over 2.5 Goals: YES – England’s attack is strong and should create many chances.
  • Rashford or Saka to score/assist: YES – Both Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka are key attacking threats for England.
  • England to Win: YES

Prediction: England  3-0 Wales
