Algeria have secured qualification for the 2026 World Cup after a comfortable 3-0 victory over Somalia in the African qualifiers.
Mohamed Amoura struck twice, in the 7th and 57th minutes, with Riyad Mahrez adding the second goal in the 19th.

The result confirms Algeria’s fifth World Cup appearance, following their participation in 1982, 1986, 2010 and 2014.
The win leaves Algeria top of Group G with 22 points, while Somalia sit bottom with just one.
