PSV Eindhoven defender Anass Salah-Eddine has officially changed his sporting nationality to represent Morocco, FIFA has confirmed.

The 23-year-old was born in Amsterdam and came through Ajax’s academy before playing for FC Twente and AS Roma. He is currently on loan at PSV, where he took part in the club’s 6–2 win over Napoli earlier this week.
Salah-Eddine was part of the Netherlands team that won the 2019 European Under-17 Championship and earned 13 caps for the U21 side, reaching the semi-finals of the 2023 European U21 Championship.
Morocco coach Walid Regragui had recently said a Moroccan left-back was in the process of switching allegiance. The player will join the senior national team directly.
Salah-Eddine will compete for the left-back position with Noussair Mazraoui, Souffian El Karouani and Youssef Belammari.
He has made 88 league appearances in his club career, scoring four goals and providing eight assists.
