Rabat – The Ambassador of Palestine to Morocco, Jamal Choubki, on Wednesday in Ifrane commended the vision of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, regarding a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian cause.
On the sidelines of the closing ceremony of the Winter University organized by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency under the theme “Digital platforms and the challenge of preserving institutions in times of crisis,” Choubki drew attention to the significance of the message addressed by King Mohammed VI to Coly Seck, President of the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People.
The monarch also called for the full implementation of the ceasefire, stating, “This will allow the killing to stop, alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people, ensure the smooth and sufficient delivery of humanitarian aid, and urgently launch reconstruction efforts, ultimately opening prospects for a comprehensive and just political settlement.”
The position expressed in the message, Choubki said, lays out a clear political roadmap applicable on the ground and fully aligns with that of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), according to remarks he made to the Moroccan press agency.
The ambassador also expressed his deep gratitude to the King, as well as to the Moroccan people and government, citing the ongoing efforts to support the resilience of the residents of the Holy City through the initiatives of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency.
He further noted the participation of Palestinian students from Al-Quds University alongside their peers from Al Akhawayn University in this important event.
He added that both students and professors worked on several programs, developed new initiatives, and benefited from Moroccan expertise in the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
According to Choubki, this initiative strengthens ties between the Moroccan and Palestinian peoples and contributes to reinforcing the resilience of the inhabitants of Al-Quds.
