Rabat – Azzedine Ounahi once again proved himself on the big stage as Girona held La Liga giants Real Madrid to a 1–1 draw at Montilivi. Even after Real Madrid equalized through a second-half penalty by Kylian Mbappé, Ounahi was a constant threat on transitions, driving Girona forward whenever the ball changed hands. His tactical awareness showed his growing maturity and leadership on the pitch. For Girona, a club struggling in La Liga, having a player who can do this against top opposition is a big boost in confidence and morale.
