AFCON 2025 kicks off in just 8 days on December 21, and CAF has announced a network of eight fan zones across Morocco to bring the excitement out of the stadiums and into the streets. These spaces are meant to be fun, friendly spots where fans can hang out, watch the games on giant screens and enjoy daily activities from noon until 1 a.m.
To get in, fans need a FAN ID, which they can set up through the Yalla app.
These fan zones are a big part of turning AFCON 2025 into a true national celebration, giving everyone – both locals and visitors – a chance to soak up the atmosphere even if they don’t have match tickets.
Fan Zones: locations and activities
The eight fan zones will be spread across seven cities:
- Rabat :  OLM Souissi Esplanade
- Témara:  Kasbah Square
- Casablanca: Anfa Park & Espace Toro
- Tanger: Villa Harris Park
- Fes : Botanical Garden
- Marrakech: Bab Doukkala
- Agadir: Agadir Marina

FAN ID and access requirements
To get into any stadium or fan zone, fans just need a FAN ID, which they can easily create through the Yalla app. The app keeps everything in one place—from match tickets to the free e-visa for international visitors. Just show your FAN ID (and e-visa if needed) at the entrance and you’re good to go.
CAF has also teamed up with Morocco’s railway operator, ONCF, to make travelling between cities smoother during the tournament. There should be extra trains, better schedules and some special deals for fans on the move.
With these eight different fan zones stretching across 8 cities Morocco wants to turn AFCON 2025 into more than just a football competition . These spaces will bring people together, whether they’re locals or fans coming from across Africa and beyond, to enjoy the matches, the atmosphere and the exciting passion for the game.
