Rabat – The Confederation of African Football (CAF), in collaboration with Morocco’s Local Organizing Committee (LOC), has committed to providing accredited media with professional working conditions during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
A central Main Media Centre will open in Rabat on December 17, 2025, and remain active until the final on January 18, 2026.
This hub will serve as the main point of access for journalists, offering workspace, technical facilities, and official information throughout the tournament.
To simplify logistics, the LOC has improved the e‑Visa process through the official Yalla application. Accredited journalists will benefit from priority assistance, a dedicated hotline, and a specific email contact.
The app also integrates services such as visa requests, Fan ID registration, ticketing, and venue access details.
CAF confirmed that more than 5,400 accreditation requests have already been submitted worldwide, reflecting strong international interest in AFCON Morocco 2025. Organizers are encouraging media outlets to complete their applications early to ensure smooth support and access.
Transport arrangements will also be provided. A dedicated plan will include free shuttle services across host cities, making it easier for journalists to move between venues and cover matches efficiently.
By combining modern infrastructure, digital tools, and logistical support, CAF and Morocco aim to deliver a professional environment for media coverage that meets international standards and reflects the scale of the tournament.
