Rabat  – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced Morocco Now, the country’s economic brand, as an official sponsor for AFCON 2025.

The confederation announced that CAF President, Patrice Motsepe, and Ali Seddik, the Director General of the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development, signed an agreement to announce Morocco Now as the official sponsor for the AFCON.

“Through this partnership, Morocco Now will be associated with the biggest and most unifying sporting event on the African continent, using the Total Energies CAF AFCON platform to showcase a modern, ambitious, and forward-looking Morocco,” CAF said in a statement.

Earlier this month, CAF also announced Morocco’s railway operator ONCF as an official sponsor for the tournament.

ONCF says the plan will ensure fast, safe, and comfortable journeys for millions of fans, while promoting sustainability and inclusion. The initiative is also in line with Morocco’s wider vision to use sport as a way to strengthen African unity and empower young people.

The AFCON will kick off on Sunday, bringing together Morocco and Comoros as the openers of the tournament.

Nine stadiums across six Moroccan cities will host the almost one-month tournament.

On Wednesday, CAF announced a record 20 media rights partnerships across over 30 European territories for the tournament.

The confederation promised unprecedented visibility and accessibility to bring the tournament to millions of football fans across Europe.

In November, CAF and a South-African-based group of television channels, SuperSport, also announced a broadcast rights partnership for the tournament.

The broadcasting deal covers English and local languages across sub-Saharan Africa.
