Former Executive Sues MrBeast’s Company Over Harassment, Workplace Bias

Tetouan – A former senior employee has filed a lawsuit against Jimmy Donaldson’s media company, alleging sexual harassment, gender discrimination, and unfair dismissal.

Lorrayne Mavromatis, who worked at Beast Industries between 2022 and 2025, claims the company failed to address complaints about misconduct toward female employees.

In court filings, she alleges that harassment was “condoned” within the organization and that concerns raised by staff were not taken seriously.

‘Mental anguish’ and humiliation

Mavromatis joined the company as head of Instagram before being promoted to a senior executive role.

She says she was dismissed after raising concerns about what she described as a workplace lacking basic employment protections.

According to the lawsuit, she and other women were systemically subjected to a “hostile environment” and treated differently from male colleagues.

The complaint includes specific allegations about internal conversations.

In one instance, Mavromatis claims former CEO James Warren told her that her appearance influenced Donaldson’s decision not to collaborate with her on certain projects.

She also alleges she was later demoted to a marginal role within the company before being dismissed shortly after returning from pregnancy-related leave.

The experience caused “mental anguish, humiliation, and emotional distress,” Mavromatis recalls, stressing she is seeking compensation, including lost wages and benefits, as well as reinstatement.

‘Categorically false’

Beast Industries has strongly rejected the claims.

A company representative described the lawsuit as “categorically false” and accused the former employee of making misleading statements.

The company says it has evidence, including internal communications and witness testimony, that contradicts Mavromatis’s allegations.

Mavromatis’ dismissal was part of a broader restructuring process that affected both male and female employees, the representative argued, claiming it was not linked to her performance or complaints.

Widely known as MrBeast, Donaldson is the most-followed creator on YouTube; he boasts more than 470 million subscribers.

His company employs over 500 people and has expanded into large-scale productions, including the reality competition show “Beast Games.”

The lawsuit adds to a series of legal challenges involving the YouTuber’s business operations, although previous allegations related to his projects have been denied or dismissed.

The case is expected to proceed through the courts, where both sides will present evidence supporting their claims.
