Rabat – Morocco’s friendly match against Norway took a worrying turn as winger Abde Ezzalzouli was forced to leave the pitch due to an apparent injury.

The match had opened with high intensity, with Ezzalzouli heavily involved in the Atlas Lions’ attacking buildup.

Operating from the left wing, the Real Betis forward looked sharp and dangerous, repeatedly troubling Norway’s backline during the first half.

However, the mood changed when Ezzalzouli went down following a heavy physical sequence. After receiving medical attention on the pitch, it quickly became clear that the 24-year-old would be unable to continue.

His visible discomfort immediately sparked concern on the Moroccan bench, forcing an early tactical adjustment The national team’s medical staff is expected to conduct immediate evaluations to determine whether the issue is a muscle strain or a severe tear.

All eyes now turn to the post-match press updates and the official medical bulletin from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) to see how long the winger will be sidelined.
