Rabat – Morocco’s impressive run in the World Cup continues to reflect positively on their FIFA ranking, with the Atlas Lions remaining firmly among the world’s elite.

After their 1–0 victory over Scotland, Morocco briefly climbed to fifth in the global standings, highlighting the impact of their recent performances on the international stage. Now they are sixth in the ranking.

The ranking picture has shifted again following Brazil’s ongoing campaign, with the Seleção overtaking the fifth position thanks to their 3-0 against Haiti (at the time of writing). This adjustment reflects how closely contested the top ranks remain during the tournament, where every result can quickly reshape the standings.

Despite this, Morocco’s trajectory remains one of the standout stories of the competition. Their performances continue to underline a clear upward momentum built on consistency, discipline, and a growing winning mentality.

Rather than a single ranking position, the bigger picture is Morocco’s sustained presence among the world’s top sides—competing in real time with football giants and reinforcing their status as one of the tournament’s most in-form teams.
