FUS Rabat has officially announced the departure of head coach Said Chiba and his technical staff in an official statement released on Thursday.
Chiba’s departure comes two years after he joined FUS Rabat as head coach.
He replaced Jamal Essalami, who left to take over the Jordan national team at the time.
FUS Rabat praised the coach in an official statement.
“Fath Union Sport extends its most sincere thanks and deep gratitude to Mr. Said Chiba and his technical staff for the efforts made throughout their mission as head coach of the first team”
“The club wishes Mr. Said Chiba and his entire staff every success and an excellent continuation in their professional careers, especially as Mr. Chiba is one of the key figures of the FUSSISTE family.” The club added
Chiba led FUS to an eighth-place finish in the Botola Pro standings last season with 37 points.
