Agadir – Italian FEBO Group has established FEBO E&R Polymers SARL, a new subsidiary based in Morocco’s Tangier Free Zone, to expand its activities in engineering polymers and supply high-performance materials to local industries.
The new company will focus on technical materials and customized solutions for the automotive, electrical and electronics, lighting, and household appliance sectors, according to a statement shared by FEBO.
The new subsidiary aims to bring the group closer to Moroccan industrial companies and provide them with technical expertise, access to materials, and solutions tailored to their production needs.
FEBO targets Morocco’s industrial market
FEBO selected Tangier because of its proximity to major industrial centers and its role in connecting Moroccan manufacturers with European and African markets.
The region hosts the Tangier Med port, free trade zones, and an extensive industrial network that supports cross-border supply chains, particularly in the automotive sector.
Through its local presence, FEBO aims to improve its response to customer needs while strengthening commercial and industrial ties between Europe and Africa.
“We see significant opportunities in industrial applications requiring high-performance materials,” says Giuseppe Carocchi, CEO of the FEBO Group. “FEBO E&R Polymers was created to support this evolution, bringing our expertise in engineering polymers and our ability to develop solutions with customers to the local market.”
The company will focus on engineering polymers, materials that manufacturers use in applications requiring specific mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties.
New subsidiary expands FEBO’s existing presence
The establishment of FEBO E&R Polymers builds on the group’s existing activities in Morocco through its participation in Fnegoce, a distribution company based in Casablanca.
FEBO has used Fnegoce to develop its presence in the Moroccan commodities market. The two companies will continue to work together, with Fnegoce supporting FEBO International through its knowledge of the local market and its network of commercial partners.
The new subsidiary will complement these activities by targeting engineering polymers and more technically demanding industrial applications.
