Rabat – The National Professional Football League (LNFP) has provided further context regarding Moghreb Tetouan’s recent documentation following updates on the club’s regulatory status.
The league stressed that these submissions are distinct from the broader administrative and legal requirements needed to resolve the status of the club’s corporate entity.
In an explanatory statement, the governing body confirmed that the materials submitted by Moghreb Tetouan on October 8 were strictly related to match bonus payout procedures.
The LNFP clarified that these submissions do not satisfy or complete the required administrative and legal filings for the sports association.
The league’s governing body noted that despite examining an earlier set of documents provided by the club, the legal status of Moghreb Tetouan’s sporting entity continues to undergo active monitoring.
Operations for the corporate structure have been suspended since July 2023.
Beyond its legal and administrative complications, the league pointed out that Moghreb Tetouan faces broader financial liabilities.
These include substantial outstanding debts such as unpaid salaries and overdue contributions to the National Social Security Fund (CNSS).
The statement is part of the league’s ongoing assessment to ensure the club meets all regulatory standards required to secure its professional license, while administrative and legal proceedings remain underway.
Concluding its statement, the LNFP maintained that all clubs remain subject to standard regulatory procedures.
The governing body stressed that strict adherence to administrative and legal commitments is non-negotiable for participation in professional league competitions.
