President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump has arrived in Morocco’s Marrakech for a private tour.
A source confirmed the news to Morocco World News (MWN), stating she arrived in Marrakech this morning.
Ivanka Trump is already a Marrakech enthusiast.
This is not Ivanka’s first Moroccan visit. In 2019, she visited Morocco in her capacity as the then-adviser to President Trump.
During that official visit, Ivanka promoted the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative to empower women in remote areas in Morocco.
She extolled Morocco’s efforts to ensure equality between men and women in terms of inheritance.
Ivanka Trump also attended a royal audience, during which she wore a Moroccan traditional caftan.
Ivanka Trump also visited Morocco in 2022, where she enjoyed a lifetime holiday and documented her memories in the North African country.
One of her photos also showed her wearing a Melhfa, a traditional garment commonly worn by Moroccan women in the southern provinces.
The photo showed her posing near a beach in Morocco’s Dakhla, with a caption saying “Morocco.”
The photo reflects US support for Morocco’s position and sovereignty over its southern provinces in Western Sahara. Donald Trump announced his country’s position in December 2020, a momentum that has continued until today, with Washington’s efforts to help resolve the dispute, viewing the Autonomy Plan as the only serious and credible political solution to end the dispute over Western Sahara.
Ivanka Trump has yet to share any new posts about her latest Marrakech visit, having shared only Instagram Stories in recent hours reflecting the US and the autumn season.
