Rabat – Morocco’s Amal Mogador d’Essaouira claimed the Beach Soccer World Winners Cup title on Sunday in Turkey, securing a decisive 11-8 victory over Paraguay’s Deportivo Luqueño in the championship final.
The triumph marks a historic milestone for the Essaouira-based club, making them the first Moroccan, Arab, and African team ever to win the intercontinental club tournament.
The World Winners Cup is run by Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW), the primary entity governing international club events in the sport.

The Moroccan club continued their momentum in the round of 16, overcoming Saudi side Al-Taawoun in a 13-8 thriller.
Moving into the quarter-finals, Essaouira club comfortably dispatched Kuwait’s Al-Qadsia 6-2.
They followed up that performance on Saturday by defeating Sunrise Kyiv of Ukraine 6-3 in the semi-finals to book their place in the championship match.
Facing Deportivo Luqueño in Sunday’s final, Amal Mogador capped their flawless tournament with an 11-8 win, sealing the international crown.
