Ain Aouda (Skhirat-Témara) – A gas cylinder exploded on Monday inside a shop in the weekly market of Ain Aouda (Skhirat-Témara prefecture), killing one person and injuring 54 others, local authorities said.

The victim, a woman, succumbed to her injuries after she was rushed to the hospital, while 54 other people were wounded and had multiple degree burns, said local authorities in the Skhirat-Témara prefecture.

The injured were rushed to the Sidi Lahcen hospital in Témara and Rabat Avicenne hospital to receive the necessary health care, they added.
