Rabat – Casablanca’s Judiciary police arrested on Monday two people for carrying and dealing in 1,050 Rivotril psychotropic pills, said on Tuesday National Police (DGSN).
The suspects, with criminal records, were arrested while boarding a motorcycle and selling the drug, the police added in a statement.
The two suspects were remanded in custody to complete the investigation led under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office, it said, noting that this operation is part of police efforts to fight drug trafficking.
