Casablanca – Dutch ex-MP humiliates the Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu by refusing to shake his hand in front of the camera.

The Dutch politician Tunahan Kuzu and former member of the Labor Party refused to shake hands with the Israeli Prime Minister in a humiliating scene.

The video that went viral today shows Netanyahu in front of a row of Dutch politicians and shaking their hands one after the other. When he extended his hand to Tanuhan Kuzu, who was wearing a Palestinian flag, the latter put his hands behind him instead.

This incident is not the only hostile reaction against the Israeli prime minister. The former Dutch Prime minister Dries Van Agt, known for his pro-Palestinian stance, opposed Netanyahu’s visit to Holland this week:

“The occupation and expansion… building of settlements, of occupied territory, this is according to the Rome Statute, which is… the setup… the statute on which the international criminal court is based, in so many words, a war crime,” said Van Agt in an interview reported in the British Tabloid The Independent.

Dries Van Agt, who served as Prime Minister of Holland from 1977 to 1982 went even further when he said that Netanyahu should be prosecuted in the International Criminal Court:

“So why should we receive someone who continues with such things, we could have sent him right away to the international criminal court, that would have been better.”

The Israeli pwrime minister has been in Holland in an official visit since September 6.

Netanyahu will meet the Dutch Prime Minister, the King of Holland and members of Foreign Committee in the parliament, reported the news website Palestine Chronicle.
