Rabat – Republicans are reportedly debating whether to challenge Trump during the midst of his eccentric behaviour.

Fellow Republicans grow increasingly concerned over US presidential candidate Donald Trump’s behaviour who insists that his campaign is going extremely well despite recent major hiccups.

Reince Priebus is said to have been amongst the high-profile Republicans who are left wondering whether they should confront Trump over his controversial approach to his presidential campaigns.

On Wednesday Trump tweeted “there is great unity in my campaign, perhaps greater than ever before.”

However, events in recent days suggest otherwise. Trump has shockingly continued to drag out a feud with the parents of a Muslim fallen soldier killed in Iraq back in 2004, openly refused to endorse fellow Republican House speaker Paul Ryan in his primary election and also suggested that November’s general election will be ‘rigged’.

These happenings have led to reports that top Republicans are forming an ‘intervention’ and that Trump’s campaign staff have been left feeling “frustrated”, “suicidal” and are “mailing it in”.

However, Trump campaign spokesman Jason Miller fought back on Tuesday night stating that “our campaign just finished our strongest month of fundraising to date, we’re adding talented and experienced staffers on a daily basis and Mr Trump is turning out bigger, more enthusiastic crowds than Hillary Clinton ever could.”
