Benkirane Avoids Handshake with Prince Moulay Rachid’s Bride

Rabat – Morocco’s Head of Government and Secretary General of the Justice and Development Party Abdelilah Benkirane reportedly avoided shaking hands with the bride of Prince Moulay Rachid, Lala Oum Kaltoum Boufares, during the second day of the wedding ceremony at the Royal Palace in Rabat.

Abdelilah Benkirane did not offer a handshake to the bride of Moulay Rachid, Lala Oum Kaltoum Boufares, while the young couple greeted the high-ranked personalities who attended the wedding.

The Secretary General of the Justice and Development Party shook Prince Moulay Rachid’s hand and nodded his head to Lala Oum Kaltoum Boufares.

Chaired by King Mohammed VI, the wedding ceremony kicked off on Thursday and is attended by numerous personalities, among which are members of the Moroccan royal family, members of the government, and personalities from the worlds of culture, art, and business.

 Members of the royal families of several friendly countries in Europe, Asia, and the Gulf and political and diplomatic personalities from many countries are also attending the festivities.
