Smara, Morocco – The police are still looking for the two killers of Mr. Tarik Hassoune, a primary teacher in ‘Raboit Sahrij’ school, who died last Sunday evening in Gulmim, the gate of the Sahara, in southern Morocco.

According to some sources from the city, two people riding a motorbike stabbed the teacher while he was walking on the main street, ‘El Jayshi lmalaki’, before they escaped.

The same sources added that the victim lost a lot of blood as a result of his deep wound while waiting for the ambulance to take him to the local hospital where he died.

The event has shocked the people of Gulmim who considered this crime to be an unforgivable horror against the body of teaching and teachers. The safety of children and teachers, inside and outside of schools, is now in question.
