Rabat – Upon the instructions of King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), the Army Lieutenant General Abdelaziz Bennani, Inspector General of FAR and Commander of Southern Zone, met on Saturday with Amanda J. Dory, US Deputy Secretary of Defense for African Affairs.

The talks focused on the next Moroccan-American Joint Military Commission, slated for December in Washington, said a statement from the General Staff of FAR.

The work of the commission, which fall within the context of bilateral military cooperation, focuses on logistics, training, the exchange of expertise and the promotion of partnerships between the Royal Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of the United States of America.
