Tunis – MWN

Tell the sailors

The distant sea

Is cold at night

And the island is

Only for those

Eyes of love and light.

Upward bring your hearts

And of Eden never lose sight

Lest the roads of Earth

Take you where the sun

Is not bright.

Lost is innocence,

Cold is the world,

Mixed is wrong with right

Crossed are the frontiers,

With or without flight

But see,

This is not the place

To remember the past

With delight

Nor is it of wisdom

To forget it 

And serve the needs

Of a knight.

Beware the black memory 

Of the white

Look beyond the dark,

Open the book of your life

And write

Open a window of hope

And fight.
