The Moroccan American Network, a non – profit organization dedicated to strengthening economic ties between Morocco and the United States, is organizing its first convention in Washington, D.C. on May 31, 2013. This gathering will bring together a wide array of Moroccan American business owners along with other stakeholders, American executive and legislative branch officials, Moroccan parliamentary delegations, academics and experts from Morocco and the United Sates.
The convention features high-profile events showcasing the growing partnership between Morocco and the United States. These include keynote addresses by congressional and business leaders, and networking sessions joined by distinguished guests.
The convention is sponsored by many business entities both from the US and Morocco. It will focus on exploring business opportunities for Moroccan Americans in Morocco and how they can grow their businesses in the US.
The topic of this first convention, “Building Business Bridges across the Atlantic,” will center on expanding the existing business partnership between Morocco and the US in the aftermath of a newly established strategic dialogue between the countries. The Moroccan American Network will become a platform for business owners willing to contribute to enhancing this dialogue. They seek to provide solid grounds for better commercial exchange for the business community on both sides of the Atlantic.
