Join on Telegram Rabat – Authorities in Al Hoceima have opened a judicial investigation after a man allegedly doused another individual with a flammable liquid and set him on fire in a public area on Tuesday, the public prosecutor’s office at the city’s Court of Appeal announced.
According to an official statement, the suspect has been placed in custody following the incident as investigators work to determine the circumstances and motives behind the act.
The victim was transferred to the hospital to receive urgent medical care, the statement added.
The public prosecutor’s office confirmed that legal measures will be taken once the ongoing investigation concludes.
