Patrice Motsepe, president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), is set to travel to Chile to attend the FIFA U20 World Cup final between Morocco and Argentina on Sunday night.
Motsepe shared a video message on CAF’s official social media accounts, expressing his support for the Atlas Lions. He said: “Africa stands behind the Moroccan team. I hope Morocco succeeds against Argentina, we are all supporting Morocco.”

The CAF chief added: “I am proud of what they have achieved. They do not represent only Morocco, but the entire African continent and the dream of all Africans.”
Argentina take on Morocco in the 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup final on Sunday in Chile. The South Americans are chasing their seventh title and first since 2007, while Morocco are aiming to make history by winning the trophy for the first time.
