Rabat – Rabat Région Mobilité (RRM) has launched “Blassty,” the first Moroccan mobile application designed to organize and optimize urban travel in real time across the Rabat-Sale-Temara metropolitan area.

Developed to support Rabat’s transformation into a modern, connected, and fluid capital, Blassty aims to offer a simple and intuitive mobility experience by bringing together, for the first time in Morocco, all urban transport modes on a single digital platform.

The application allows users to check real-time bus and tramway schedules, calculate their itineraries, and choose the most efficient routes, whether using a single mode of transport or combining several, based on travel time, distance, or cost, said RRM in a statement.

It also enables users to see parking availability in real time, locate and order vélo-taxis, find taxi stations across the metropolitan area, and book airport taxis in just a few clicks.

In addition, “Blassty” provides information on shuttle train schedules serving the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex on match days and helps users discover Rabat’s main cultural and tourist landmarks through itineraries integrated into the app.

With this launch, Rabat becomes the first city in Morocco to offer a comprehensive, modern, and reliable digital mobility tool capable of assisting residents, professionals, and visitors in their daily, professional, and tourist travel.

RRM said the initiative is part of the vision of King Mohammed VI, which places sustainable mobility, innovation, and the improvement of citizens’ quality of life at the heart of the Kingdom’s major development projects.

The launch comes at a strategic moment as Morocco prepares to host major continental and international events, including the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Improving urban mobility and easing movement in host cities are key priorities, and “Blassty” aims to help manage increased traffic and ensure a smoother experience for both locals and international visitors.
