Rabat – Morocco’s participation in the Africa Cup of Nations is receiving more attention as international clubs are setting sights on Atlas Lions, including Noussair Mazraoui.

Juventus is reportedly eyeing Noussair Mazraoui as a potential transfer target.

“Mazraoui is currently away on international duty, representing Morocco at the AFCON, where they have reached the semi-finals,” Juve FC reported, emphasizing that the Atlas Lion’s absence from his current club, Manchester United, has not gone unnoticed.

“He has been one of Manchester United’s most reliable performers and has consistently featured when fit,” the report added

Juve FC is not the only platform that highlighted Juventus‘ interest in the Atlas Lion, as this speculation has been making the news rounds for several days now.

Mazraoui is thriving with the Moroccan national squad, which reached the semi-finals of the AFCON, the largest tournament in Africa. The Atlas Lions have not made it this far since 2004.

Morocco will face Nigeria tomorrow at 9 p.m. Moroccan in Rabat’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium for a new, tough, and decisive game.

Mazraoui contributed to Morocco’s win, showcasing impressive form and decisive passes throughout the competition.

Manchester United said recently that its player is preparing for a huge game on Wednesday.

“Our versatile defender is our sole remaining representative at the tournament after Amad followed Bryan Mbeumo i departure from the event,” Manchester United wrote.

Alongside Brahim Diaz, Mazraoui was featured among CAF’s Best XI of the group stage at the AFCON.
