Rabat—Italian giants Juventus have reportedly reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe to bring Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri to Serie A during the January transfer window. The move, currently structured as a loan deal with an option to buy, now awaits the final sign-off from the player’s representatives before it can be completed.

According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Juventus and Fenerbahçe agreed last night on the framework of the deal: a €4 million loan fee that includes En-Nesyri’s salary for the remainder of the season, along with a €19 million buy option clause that is not mandatory. The clubs are now awaiting the player’s decision and the approval of his agents before finalizing the move.

The agreement marks a major step in the 28-year-old’s career, as Juventus look to strengthen their attacking line midseason. En-Nesyri, who returned recently from the Africa Cup of Nations with Morocco, has attracted interest from several clubs but is reportedly giving strong consideration to the switch to Turin.

Italian media reports also indicate that Juventus are hoping to complete the deal and bring the striker in for a medical and official announcement soon, potentially before the weekend. After that, En-Nesyri could be available for selection once he’s registered with Serie A.

For Juventus, this deal comes as they seek more firepower up front amid a busy midseason schedule and transfers that have not yet fully addressed scoring needs. Bringing in an experienced forward like En-Nesyri could help add depth and goal-threat options for the rest of the campaign.
