Rabat – Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip has killed more than 3,300 Palestinians, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced Wednesday morning.

In addition to the loss of life, Israel’s relentless attacks had a severe impact on healthcare infrastructure, making it difficult for the injured and sick to receive timely and essential medical attention, added the ministry’s statement.

An Israeli airstrike hit a hospital in Gaza last night, killing more than 500 Palestinians, including patients, wounded individuals, and displaced individuals seeking shelter.

The statement added that another major challenge facing Gaza is the critical shortage of medicine, exacerbating the already dire situation.

In addition, the Gaza Strip is grappling with a significant deterioration in water supply and sanitation systems.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health warned that the disruption of these essential services could lead to the spread of communicable diseases within the already vulnerable population.

Israel’s bombing of a Gaza hospital has triggered widespread outrage from governments, organizations, public figures, and individuals from across the world.

Several countries, including Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, and Canada, decried the attack and the heinous killing of civilians.

The Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the country “condemns in the strongest terms” the Israeli forces’ attack on the hospital in Gaza, demanding the protection of civilians.

In addition, Morocco called on the international community to come together and put an end to the violence as soon as possible.

The deadly attack triggered demonstrations across the world. Dozens of Moroccans gathered in front of the parliament in Rabat right after the attack to protest Israel’s brutal bombing of the hospital.

Meanwhile, several protesters in Jordan attempted to storm the Israeli embassy in the capital city of Amman after they set surrounding areas on fire.
