Rabat – Ayoub El Kaabi has reached another huge milestone in Greece. The Moroccan striker scored his 50th league goal for Olympiacos F.C., officially moving into the club’s top 20 all-time scorers in the Greek championship era.

This moment came in Olympiacos’ 2–1 win over Panserraikos in Round 26 of the Super League. El Kaabi scored twice that night, once again proving how decisive he has become for the team. With those two goals, he reached 50 in just 79 league appearances which is a performance that shows his consistency since arriving in Athens in the summer of 2023.

El Kaabi has delivered every season. He scored 17 league goals in his first year, followed it with 18 in his second, and has continued at the same pace this season. Reaching 50 goals in under three full campaigns is no small achievement, especially at a club with Olympiacos’ history and expectations.

Breaking into the top 20 scorers list, he surpasses club legends Oleg Protasov and Petros Karavitis and puts him alongside some of the club’s notable names from past decades, a true sign of the impact he has made in a relatively short time.

His brace against Panserraikos helped Olympiacos secure three important points as the title race enters its decisive phase. Once again, El Kaabi stepped up when the team needed him.

At 32, he continues to show sharp movement, calm finishing, and leadership in the attacking line. He may not always be the loudest presence on the pitch, but his numbers speak clearly.

With his contract running until June 2026, discussions about his future are expected in the coming months. Given his importance to the squad, keeping him could be high on the club’s agenda.

For now, though, the focus remains on finishing the season strongly.
