Rabat – Since his outstanding performances internationally and with the Atlas Lions, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli continues to attract interest from big European clubs, including Liverpool.

Sports-focused website Fichajes reported on Thursday that the English club already “made its move,” citing the departure of Mohamed Salah as a factor pushing the club to look for another attacking replacement.

“Abde is shining at Betis and attracting attention across Europe,” the report added, recalling his dribbling ability and his growing influence as a decisive player.

Now Liverpool is putting a budget between €40 and €45 million, with the report stating the number reflects the club’s confidence in Ezzalzouli’s potential.

It further attributed this to LaLiga, a competition that boosts his profile and market value.

“Real Betis is aware of the situation,” Fichajes said, emphasizing the player’s strength and skills, attracting top clubs..

While Betis is aware of Ezzalzouli’s skills and importance, the club is also considering the offer, as a sale would represent a major income.

However, the club is not rushing a decision as they are familiar with the Moroccan player’s valuable assets.

“His departure would require finding a strong replacement,” Fichajes said.

This season, the football player appeared in 23 matches in LaLiga, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists.

The Atlas Lion was also a key asset during the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where Morocco secured its second continental title in 50 years.

The win followed a dramatic final, marred by Senegal’s walk-off in frustration over a legitimate penalty awarded to Morocco.
