Casablanca — AI Institute has obtained the Training Services Partner status from Microsoft, joining a limited group of organizations authorized to deliver training on the company’s artificial intelligence and cloud technologies.

The partnership traces back to GITEX Africa 2024, where the collaboration was first initiated. It is built on a division of roles: Microsoft provides the technologies and reference frameworks, while AI Institute, in collaboration with DynIT, designs and delivers training programs tailored to business use.

AI Institute said the offer is meant to address a persistent gap between rapidly evolving AI technologies and the level of skills available within companies. The programs cover awareness for teams, identification of relevant use cases, and deployment of solutions. They also include follow-up on productivity gains linked to AI integration.

The organization positions itself across the full value chain, from executive training to operational rollout. It says its approach remains independent from specific technologies and focused on concrete business needs.

AI Institute was created through a partnership between Microsoft and the Holmarcom Group. It operates as a training and advisory center in data and artificial intelligence, supporting organizations in integrating these technologies into decision-making and operations. Its model combines data engineering with sector-specific expertise.

With this new status, AI Institute is now a certified provider of Microsoft-aligned AI training. This means it is effectively part of a small circle of actors in Africa with the legitimacy to deliver programs on Microsoft’s AI and cloud ecosystem.

Microsoft, for its part, continues to expand digital skills initiatives, particularly in Africa, where it promotes digital platforms as tools for economic transformation and integration into the global digital economy.

AI Institute says the goal is to help structure AI skills, support digital transformation, and encourage responsible adoption of artificial intelligence across organizations.
