Rabat – Moroccan international Abderrazak Hamdallah heavily contributed to Al Ittihad’s 4-0 victory against Al Riyadh yesterday.
Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema opened the score for the Tigers in the 17th minute of the game. Eight minutes later, Hamdallah scored his first goal from a penalty kick.
Just before the half-time whistle, the Moroccan managed to find the back of the net again from a brilliant bicycle kick.
The second half was no different in terms of domination, translating to a fourth goal by Saleh Al Amri in the 93rd minute.
Al Ittihad is currently leading the Saudi League table with a perfect nine points from three games with the team having the strongest defense so far with no goals conceded.
As for the Atlas Lion, with his brace in yesterday’s game, his goals for this season have risen to a total of four, making him the top goalscorer in the Saudi Pro League followed by Al Hilal’s Malcom with three goals.
Al Ittihad’s next game will take place this Monday at 7 P.M. Moroccan time against Al Wehda.
