Rabat – Rabat Business School, the business school of the International University of Rabat (UIR), has reached a new high in its international rise, securing 10th place worldwide in the latest Financial Times Masters in Management ranking.

The result puts the Moroccan institution among the world’s top business schools and marks a notable achievement for Morocco and Africa’s higher education sector.

The school’s ascent has been particularly striking over the past few years. After a 54th-place finish in 2023, Rabat Business School moved to 32nd in 2024 and then to 20th in 2025. It has now crossed the final stretch into the global top 10.

The ranking also highlights areas where the school performed exceptionally well. Rabat Business School took first place worldwide for salary percentage increase, which measures the growth in graduates’ earnings after their studies. It also ranked first globally for overall satisfaction and fifth for career progress.

Those results offer a glimpse into how graduates assess the value of their education once they enter the professional world. Beyond academic credentials, the figures point to career opportunities, financial prospects, and the broader experience students associate with the institution.

For Rabat Business School, the achievement also carries significance beyond its own campus. The school has stood as the only business school from Africa and the Middle East featured in the Financial Times Masters in Management ranking in recent years, giving its latest result a wider regional dimension.

Nicolas Arnaud, Dean and Director General of Rabat Business School, said the 10th-place ranking was a source of pride for the school, Morocco, and Africa.

He described the Financial Times ranking as a major benchmark in global management education and attributed the school’s progress to more than a decade of collective work.

For Arnaud, the result also challenges the idea that the strongest business education institutions must come from traditional academic centers in Europe, North America, or Asia.

The performance of Rabat Business School, he said, shows that an African institution can earn a place among the world’s leading schools and contribute to the future of management education.

Founded in 2010, Rabat Business School holds AACSB and EQUIS accreditation, two internationally recognized distinctions in business education.

Today, the school has more than 4,000 students across disciplines such as finance and accounting, marketing, supply chain management, corporate strategy, project management, human resources, international business, data science, and entrepreneurship.

Its academic model places particular emphasis on international exposure, professional experience, and research, with the stated aim of preparing graduates for increasingly complex business environments.

The Financial Times result gives that ambition a powerful external measure. For a Moroccan business school that ranked outside the global top 50 only a few years ago, 10th place represents not simply another step up the table, but a significant shift in how far the institution has reached on the world stage.
