Marrakech – Rabat Business School (RBS) and the Alumni EMBA Bureau convened industry leaders and academic experts today at the International University of Rabat (UIR) for a comprehensive examination of modern leadership challenges in the digital transformation era.
The high-level academic forum explored how digital transformation and artificial intelligence are reshaping leadership practices and organizational management.
The event, held under the theme “Leadership 4.0: Competencies, Vision, and Resilience in the Age of AI,” brought together senior executives, academics, and industry experts to explore how leaders must adapt to rapid technological change and organizational complexity.
The event targeted managers, executives, E-MBA participants, and alumni seeking insights into contemporary leadership practices. It aimed to stimulate high-level reflection while positioning Rabat as a hub for forward-looking leadership thinking in the digital era.
Distinguished guest speakers from corporate and academic worlds shared concrete insights on modern leadership skills, strategic decision-making, human capital development, and change management. The discussion fostered dialogue between theoretical frameworks and real-world professional experience for managers, executives, and EMBA participants and alumni.

Asmae Eloufir, quality director for semiconductor and automotive industries and former IAQM director, commended the conference’s comprehensive scope. “It was about competency, about the vision, about resilience and also about the artificial intelligence,” she told Morocco World News (MWN).
Eloufir noted the event’s interactive format and educational value, particularly the audience engagement, while encouraging organizers to continue hosting such initiatives.
Building on this theme of educational exchange, Mohammed Benouarrek, strategy director for organization and human capital and international HR expert, expressed satisfaction with the collaborative dialogue.
“It has been a real pleasure to exchange with the public about different issues related to leadership and transformations led by artificial intelligence,” Benouarrek said. The Rabat Business School lecturer discussed his appreciation for participating in academic-industry exchanges.
Shifting the focus to practical implementation, Naoufal Dhibat, plant manager at Aptiv and vice president of Atlantic Free Zone Association of Investors, concentrated on strategic AI integration within corporate environments.
“I was very happy today to be present in this event to share my insights about artificial intelligence implementation in companies in accordance with the strategy,” Dhibat explained. He addressed the importance of preparing workforce competencies for smooth technological transitions.
Complementing this operational perspective, Youness Ait Bamoh, head of digital at Groupe Ciments du Maroc and vice president of AUSIM, advocated for human-centered approaches during digital transformations.
“Our transformation digital should be human centric and customer centric,” Ait Bamoh stated. He identified the critical need for organizational alignment between IT, digital teams, and business operations when implementing AI-driven changes in the VUCA environment.
Rounding out the expert panel, Badr Lahmoudi, president of CI Digital Morocco Africa and AFZIA president, also contributed to the discussions addressing modern leadership challenges.
Leadership 4.0 represents the evolution of management practices in the digital age, characterized by adaptive, technology-driven approaches to organizational guidance.
