“The club wishes to convey its support and solidarity to the families and friends of the victims and to wish all those injured a speedy recovery,” the Catalan club said.

Real Madrid likewise issued an official statement expressing its condolences and support for emergency services and those involved in rescue efforts.

The club said it shared the grief of everyone affected by the tragedy, describing the moment as one of profound sadness.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) also expressed solidarity with the victims and their families following the accident.

RFEF postpones Copa del Rey matches

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) announced the postponement of 24 Copa del Rey matches scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, as a mark of respect for the victims of the accident.

The affected fixtures included matches involving five La Liga clubs: Real Betis, Valencia, Celta Vigo, Levante, and Deportivo Alavés.
