Rabat – Luxury hospitality company Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is rapidly expanding its presence in Morocco, announcing the opening of its fourth luxury establishment in Rabat’s Kasr Al Bahr in 2023.

Four Seasons Hotels and Atlantic Coast Hospitality, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi-based real estate development firm Q Holding announced the news in a press release.

The soon-to-be opened hotel will feature 204 “luxuriously appointed rooms” and suites overlooking the Atlantic Ocean at Rabat’s Kasr Al Bahr (castle of the sea).

The hotel will also feature seven restaurants and lounges, a spa, several outdoor resort-style pools, as well as a conference and event space.

‘A world-class hospitality experience’

“As Four Seasons continues to grow its presence in Morocco, we are proud to build upon the success of our existing properties in Marrakech and Casablanca while introducing a complementary experience, this time in the nation’s capital city,” said Bart Carnahan, president of global business development at Four Seasons.

Meanwhile, Q Holding Director Malik Awan noted,“As we transform Kasr Al Bahr for the future, we are proud to showcase Rabat’s history and culture while creating a world-class hospitality experience for all who visit.”

Moroccan-based architect Karim Chakor oversaw the hotel’s restoration, while the firm Roger Nazarian and Associates was responsible for the interior design, landscaping, and other aspects of the property, noted the press release.

The hotel is located 20 minutes from the Rabat-Sale Airport and 90 minutes from the Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca.

The Hotel will join Four Seasons’ growing portfolio of Moroccan properties, which includes the Four Seasons Resort Marrakech, Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca, and Four Seasons Private Residences Marrakech at M Avenue.

Morocco’s strategic geographic location and growing economy have attracted numerous investments in the hospitality sector, including  Hilton, Marriott International, Nobu Hotel, and others.

The luxury hospitality brand Nobu Hotel is also opening its doors to the public on January 23 in Morocco’s red city, Marrakech.

The Nobu brand is led by world-famous actor Robert De Niro, film producer Meir Teper, and renowned sushi chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
