Fez – French low-cost airline Transavia announced it will launch a new route between Nantes-Atlantique airport and Oujda-Angads airport in Morocco, without competition and from MAD 512.81 (49 euros) for one-way tickets, reports Air Journal.

It has also decided to extend the existing routes linking Nantes to Fez, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote next summer, bringing to 35 the number of destinations served from the Atlantic airport.

Transavia also points out that routes linking Nantes to Fez, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote will be extended next summer, bringing to 35 the number of destinations served from the Atlantic airport.

The low-cost airline also proposed other routes for the next spring: Marseille-Provence/Lille-Lesquin and Marseille-Rennes/Bretagne (March 27 and October 28, 2022) and Nantes/Atlantic-Figari/South Corsica (starting April 9, 2022).

The flight offer “could be re-evaluated according to the evolution of demand in the months to come,” Transavia underlined in a press release. The company added that the flight program “is still very much evolving and will be subject to health conditions and restrictions imposed by the authorities of the countries concerned.”

Nicolas Henin, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Transavia France, said in a statement that “Transavia is offering a deferral of tickets with no change fees (except for fare differences).”

In this way, the company aims at “giving its customers more flexibility in organizing their trips and choice in their travels,” the executive explained. The statement also added that “travelers will be able to change their tickets up to 2 hours before their scheduled flight.”

Given the COVID-19 pandemic, the company said that “thanks to travel Insurance, Covid-19 coverage is now included in all insurance offers made at the time of booking tickets on Transavia, to allow passengers to travel with peace of mind.”
