Rabat – Moroccan kickboxing Champion Badr Hari is set to return to the ring in Glory 78 combat scheduled for September 4.
Glory, the world’s premier kickboxing organization announced three title fights to be broadcasted live from Rotterdam, Netherlands, at 8 pm local time, on the Dutch channel Ziggo Sport.
The Glory 78 event begins with the SuperFight Series by a heavyweight crash for three rounds between Badr Hari and the Polish Arkadiusz Wrzosek.
Hari frequently shares videos and pictures with his fans to show his hard work and persistence to get back to the “throne.”
On a recent Instagram post, he wrote, “Remember what you have seen, because what you are about to see is the beginning of a new series of assault.”
This is his first appearance following his defeat last year, and the fight is expected to draw a large audience. Boxing fans eagerly awaited his return with great anticipation.
The Moroccan-born star is ready to redeem himself after his loss by proving he is still one of the best in the kickboxing scene worldwide.
The 36-year-old kickboxer has amassed over 106 wins, 92 of them by knockout, and 15 losses during his career spanning 20 years.
After postponing the event in July due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Hari must compensate for the defeat conceded by TKO on December 19 against the Romanian of Nigerian origin, Benjamin Adegbuyi.
Hari also lost a fight against Rico Verhoeven due to a TKO leg injury in 2019.
